Capturing Mr. Ji: She's Got a Secret Weapon

[Male Lead: A graduate student in interpreting and a gifted red-wine maker who has lost his sense of smell and taste. Female Lead: A university student majoring in spices, a talented perfumer with a little secret and a golden finger.]

He is Ji Chi Mu. His mother, who had poured all her love into his name, died after battling depression. Then a car accident robbed him of his sense of smell and taste. His father “abandoned” him, and he was pushed out of the family’s inner circle. The shadows of his youth have followed him ever since.

She is Luo Xiang. Her name comes from the line, “Though fallen, crushed into dust, the fragrance remains.” Just as her parents hoped, she has the spirit of a plum blossom: simple, strong, and true to her original aspirations. A small accident in her childhood also gave her a golden finger and forged an unbreakable bond between her and spices.

One has a gift held back, while the other has a gift enhanced. One carries “wounds” in his heart; the other has “light” within hers. They meet, they fall in love. It is warmth, companionship, and redemption.
