However, I don't really like some of the characters in the book, and I wish they could be more personalized. Overall, worth reading.

This is my first time to read more systematically. After finishing a book on the principles of writing novels, I feel that I have gained a lot. I have formed a certain awareness and understanding of my path to writing novels. The writing is very reasonable and clear, and the examples are also vivid, which is good.

This book not only shares many writing skills, but more importantly, it shares the psychological motivation for writing. Skills can be improved over time, but it is difficult to maintain enthusiasm, diligence and perseverance. Sometimes you need a bowl of chicken soup for the soul after doing a repetitive thing for a long time; when you can't find the direction, you need a light to re-light the way forward.

The moment I saw it on the recommendation list, I knew this was the treasure trove of writing tutorials I had been waiting for. When I am confused about the specific "gong method", I will suddenly realize it in the process of experiencing the actual case. It was under the influence of the above two factors that strongly attracted me to read, I achieved my goal of reading this book in one day.
