The Sumerian Revenant

Ji Liuyue died while searching for her lover, who had fallen in a military operation. As a deputy centurion, she had been just a little short of pushing the enemy back to Mount Nan and ending the indefinite cold war. Then she could have temporarily retreated to the rear, but a shotgun blast sent her straight to the underworld, and she could not help feeling resentful. She had planned to be reborn properly, but her obsession with seeing Sumer achieve global unification ran so deep that even several bowls of Granny Meng's soup could not make her forget. She could not reincarnate successfully. So she could only wait for her mother's offerings while waiting to hear that the war had ended. Later, when the Immortal Realm invaded, Quxun had no choice but to flee for her life. One day, she met a talking fox. The fox lived in the Tushan region of the Qingqiu Realm, and she did not know its name, so she called it Lord Tushan. Thus, a human and a fox began their journey through the apocalypse together.

"So you're Enlil? Are you Li Er, or am I the one called Li Er?"
