In 1937, the Marco Polo Bridge Incident and the all-out Anti-Japanese War broke out. Students from Sichuan University protested against the Nationalist government and demanded an end to the civil war, and the whole country fought against Japan. After Zhang Xueliang's Xi'an Incident, Chiang Kai-shek finally stopped the civil war and supported the Chinese Communist Party's proposal of a united front to resist Japan. This story tells the story of the defense of Chengdu, Sichuan during the Anti-Japanese War.
