The protagonist Xia Ye is 23 years old, living a hard working life in Blue Star. On a rainy day, he crashes into a river on his way home by bike. When he opens his eyes, he finds himself in an ancient house. Later, he learns that it is the first year of Zhenguan. After awakening to the system, he begins to lead a free and unrestrained life.
