Shi An wakes up to find himself more than five months before the disasters begin. The first thing he does is track down the older neighbor he grew up with, who had left on a business trip to Lighthouse Nation and never returned. After the disasters began, all trace of him vanished.
The two of them throw themselves into preparing for the disasters ahead, using all their savings to stock up on supplies. They fill both their home and the pocket dimension with everything they need, then keep a low profile at home as calamity slowly descends upon the world.
