The Sky Clears After the Rain, but You're Gone

Warning: Heartbreak and thrills + youthful secret love + sweetness amid the angst + mutual healing.

The story begins when Qing Shiyu meets an arrogant "little plague god" in high school. Her once-dark life seems to be lit up by a ray of sunshine. Her grades improve, and she tries all sorts of new things.

The story ends when a stranger at the hospital gives her a bouquet of white balloon flowers with just one line written on it: "Longing is as deep as the sea; the past is as distant as the sky."

The handwriting is scrawled, just like his.

P.S. There's sweetness amid the heartbreak, and the story is full of twists and turns. It starts angsty and gets satisfying later, so please don't criticize the author's setup no matter what happens next, okay, dears? The author is fragile-hearted.
