As the Wind Blows

An ensemble cast growing together, with the hero and heroine saving each other. Both are devoted to one another. Happy ending.

Shortly after Jiao Jiao was born, an imperial edict bound her to the Third Prince. The Zhang family knew that serving the emperor was like keeping company with a tiger, and spent more than a decade trying to change His Majesty’s mind. They never expected that when Third Prince Zhou Yuefeng asked to be sent to the border, he would also request that the betrothal be annulled. At last, the world was wide open, and they were free to soar. Years later, after the hero returned victorious, he heard that the daughter of the Deputy Minister of Revenue, who had been raised in seclusion, was renowned for her beauty: “Who is this maiden in such exquisite attire, whose glory can rival that of a city?” He secretly went to catch a glimpse of her, never imagining that the heart he had guarded for more than twenty years would be unsettled.
