Synopsis

*Male-male romance, with a slight reverse-harem feel. Please check the tags before reading.

Main story:

Huaying was a child whom the wandering doctor Yunniang found in the Yoshiwara Pleasure District.

...Wait a minute. Yunniang seems to have disappeared.

So Huaying set off on a journey, wandering far and wide in search of his adoptive mother.

One day, the young doctor was being chased by demons when, through his fading consciousness, he suddenly saw someone who looked exactly like Yunniang appear before him and elbow him, telling him to leave.

Huaying: What do you mean? A-are you not going to keep me anymore...

Mitsuri Kanroji: Fine, if nobody wants him, I'll take him in.

Yunniang:!? When did I say I wouldn't keep him? Even if I'm dead, I'm taking my Huaying with me!

Too late, he's already joined the Demon Slayer Corps (^_^)

What-if storyline:

Kanroji Huaying is the younger brother claimed by the Demon Slayer Corps' Love Hashira, a boy with a constant smile whom Mitsuri rescued from a demon.

Everyone says he's a good boy, but he doesn't think so himself.

He should have been spoiled and lively, pampered by his Yunniang until he didn't know his place. The madams in the flower district used to tease him, saying he was a fox who could steal people's souls.

But he had to grow up eventually.

One by one, his comrades in the Demon Slayer Corps fell before him. Their faith drove him onward, even though he was little more than an empty shell.

Yunniang, who smelled of herbs; the big sister with bean-green eyes; the handsome brother-in-law with different-colored eyes; and... that idiot Kyojuro.

Will we meet again before the Sanzu River?

Two male leads. The pairing is with the big brother.

[I wrote this on a whim, and it's been contracted. If you spot anything wrong, please point it out. My writing is pretty bad.]
