[Transmigrate into a book + reborn, sweet and satisfying, farming, taking down scumbags, no golden finger, everyday family life, sweet romance and raising children, healing each other, mutual salvation]
After Song Qian (literally “sending money”) faints from heatstroke, she transmigrates into the period novel she stayed up late reading, Capitalist Young Master Leads the Whole Village Out of Poverty and Into Prosperity. She becomes the male lead’s cannon-fodder simp and admirer, a character who shares her name.
In the book, the original owner is famous for being lovesick and obsessively chasing the male lead. After he has his way with her, he dumps her without a second thought. In the end, her mother forces her to marry Jiang Ye, a rugged man from the end of the village who has nothing but his strength and whose family is so poor they can barely afford to eat.
Even after getting married, the original owner remains devoted to the male lead, moping around all day. Seeing this, her mother-in-law takes advantage of her son’s absence to beat and berate her, forcing her to work. In the end, Song Qian jumps into a river to kill herself.
After transmigrating into the book, Song Qian doesn’t want to repeat the original owner’s fate, so she keeps well away from the male lead. But fate has other plans, and through a series of mishaps, she still ends up marrying Jiang Ye, the rugged man from the end of the village.
Song Qian originally plans to find an excuse to leave, but the moment she lays eyes on Jiang Ye, she can’t take her eyes off him.
You mean that broad-shouldered, long-legged man with a face so handsome it could give you a nosebleed is her husband? And he’s so devoted to her that he can’t bear to let her suffer even a little. Song Qian promptly abandons her original plan.
She splits from the family and escapes her parasitic household, then sells medicinal soap with her handsome man, promotes traditional Chinese medicine to make money and build their fortune, and raises their little one. Then she turns around to discover that her man has somehow become a genuine young master from the capital.
Song Qian stares at Jiang Ye in disbelief. “You? A real young master?”
Jiang Ye: “If you don’t like it, I won’t be one.”
Song Qian: “...”
