I’ve Transmigrated, and I’m Serious About Farming

[Amateur writing + transmigration + pure farming + no golden finger + talking animals + infrastructure building + slow burn]

Qin Youyou worked herself to exhaustion and passed out at her desk. When she woke up, she discovered she had transmigrated, and even worse, into the body of a girl in her early teens. The most important thing was that other people who transmigrated either got a golden finger or lived in luxury!

She transmigrated

into the wilderness, where she had to start from scratch, growing crops and raising livestock just to survive, and then build a house?

And what was this forest called again?! The Lost Forest.

(Was this the same “lost” as in “find your way back after getting lost”?!)

Just when she finally had enough to eat,

who could tell her what was going on with these talking animals!!!

Talking was one thing, but why did she have to help them build houses and make warm quilts, too!! Had she somehow fallen into a world without humans!?

Was this some kind of beast-cultivation novel??

Then a wolf told her,

“Cultivation? What's that? Isn't it something from storybooks? We can talk because we ate the wisdom fruit from the Wisdom Tree and gained intelligence!”

Qin Youyou: “The wisdom fruit? The fruit on the Wisdom Tree? You and me under the Wisdom Tree? …”

Wolf: “That's right!”

The farming is serious business, so the story moves a little slowly overall. The protagonist has no golden finger or pocket dimension, either, so things progress one step at a time early on.

As for whether there's a male lead: yes, but the story won't revolve entirely around romance! (This is my first time writing, so please be patient with any shortcomings.)
