The Hidden Empress: Liu E of the Northern Song and Her Rule Alongside the Scholar-Officials

This book is very interesting! It uses Liu E's story as a clue to show the historical features of the Northern Song Dynasty and gave me a deeper understanding of that era. The stories in the book are like a picture scroll, vividly showing Liu E's legendary life, and also made me feel the complexity of the politics of the Northern Song Dynasty and the wisdom of the scholar-bureaucrats. Just like what is said in the book, "In Game of Thrones, there is no eternal winner." This sentence reminds me of competition in real life, and I also understand that only by continuous hard work can we achieve success on the stage of life. Recommended to friends who like history!

Easy to understand, with some subjective judgments about history.
