The Supreme Nine Decrees: Lu Rong

The vast and boundless fantasy world of the Yunlong Continent had been divided into three parts, each ruled by one of the Three Great Empires. This state of affairs had endured for eight hundred years. Then, one day in the year 763 of the Zhenyuan Era, a shocking and strange vision appeared above the imperial capital of the Xuanlong Empire.

A dragon and four sacred beasts, mysterious creatures of legend, appeared in the sky at the same time. Their majestic forms radiated light that illuminated the entire city. The strange spectacle terrified and bewildered the people, while also drawing the attention of the finest seers from all three empires.

Using their extraordinary powers of prophecy, the seers unanimously declared that this omen heralded the arrival of the ruler of the world. They believed this ruler would unite the Yunlong Continent and end its eight-hundred-year division.

To commemorate this historic moment, the seers together left behind a prophecy in four lines: “Three swords shall decide the world; nine commands shall rally the Divine King.”
