The Truth Concealed by the Truth

What is the perfect crime?

My definition of a perfect crime boils down to one thing: the criminal gets away with it.

That’s true, of course, but also obvious.

This time, however, the so-called perfect crime was simpler than any we had seen before, so simple that none of us even thought it was a crime. Only when the so-called truth came to light did we realize what had happened.

But was that really the truth, or was it merely a truth that concealed the truth?
