Siheyuan: I've Never Been Taken Advantage Of

Su Qian transmigrates into the world of the courtyard compound and becomes one of its residents.

Faced with these “warm and harmonious” neighborly relations, he sticks to one principle: never let himself get the short end of the stick. He secretly decides that he ought to show them even more thoughtful care.

In his spare time, he volunteers to help Jia Dongxu shoulder the burden of looking after Qin Huairu, so his neighbor won’t work himself to an early grave.

He hears that Yi Zhonghai is worried about who will care for him in his old age? No problem. As Su Qian sees it, if you can’t solve the problem, solve the person who raised it instead. Of course, he’s only joking. As long as life is good and you stay healthy, why worry about old-age care?

With Su Qian’s arrival, life in the courtyard compound becomes livelier than ever. No, wait, more harmonious and happy. With Su Qian in the mix, the courtyard’s story opens a new chapter. What remains unchanged is the subtle bond between people, and the warmth woven through all the teasing, laughter, and arguments.
