I Gave Up Ascending to Immortality

Why do students keep falling asleep in high school classes? Why was a well-bred, handsome young man kidnapped for no reason? Is this a distortion of human nature, or a collapse of morality?

Tune in to find out about the events involving Zhen Haokan's grandfather, all set in motion by Zhen Haokan's inexplicable kidnapping.

One of countless third-year students and one of the fifth-year youths, Zhen Haokan never imagined that being kidnapped would lead him to a cultivation academy.

Life slapped Zhen Haokan, who had once hoped to make it through the boundless sea of studies, and knocked him out of his peaceful routine onto a path filled with thorns and hardships, blood and hope: the road of cultivation.

Looking back years later, Zhen Haokan wondered: if he had hesitated for just 0.01 seconds back then, perhaps he still would have taken this path.
