Whether mortal or immortal, if you have never endured parting and death, never tasted the many flavors of human life, and never understood the hardships of the world, what joy is there in living as long as Heaven?
And so, Zhang Liuzi bade farewell to his immortal master, left Qinglong Mountain, and traveled the world to experience all the flavors of life... Only then did he become an Immortal Venerable.
