Lan: Parallel Lines

Born ordinary, yet going far: five young men from the mountains of southern China pursue independence, dreams, freedom, faith, and power. They taste every flavor life has to offer, struggle onward, and grow through the bonds of family, friendship, and love. They press ahead through the river of time, through hardship and tears, laughter and conversation, love and hate. Like millions of others born in the 1980s, they help build their homeland and bear witness to a great era with their youth! This novel is the author's debut. It has no flowery language, only truth and feeling. The author simply wants to share the stories of those born in the 1980s. Once, the author dreamed of going to college and becoming a teacher, attending military school while serving in the army, starting a business, seeking freedom with the person they loved, and making a contribution to their hometown. Yet after striving for half a lifetime, none of these dreams came true! We all have dreams, and we all have regrets. But living in the present and living in our own way is happiness! Welcome to the original documentary novel Lan: Parallel Lines!
