Reincarnated: Heroes, Want Some Gear?

[Parallel World! Parallel World!! Parallel World!!!]

Also known as: War of Resistance: I Told You to Be a Marshal, Not the Emperor!

After an accident, Xia Chuanxiu transmigrated into an alternate Republican-era world that was also in the midst of World War II. He had become the commander of the Ninth Regiment of the Osaka Fourth Division.

His new identity was no ordinary one: he was the heir to a once-glorious family fallen on hard times. His maternal grandfather, Xia Chuan Musang, was a senior general in the army of the Yamato Empire, and his uncle was a lieutenant general commanding Osaka's Second Division.

"Well, this is a pretty good place to end up."

"Heroes from every corner, how about some weapons? All kinds available. Don't want to pay 888? Then just 88!"

"Everyone, if the price is right, I'll even sell the T-Emperor!"

Years later.

Xia Chuanxiu: "Old man! You regret it now? Our whole family started a rebellion! Now you want to spare the surviving members of the old imperial family? Why didn't you spare them when we first rebelled? You could rewrite the Xia Chuan Canon as the greatest book in history, and people still wouldn't say our succession was legitimate!"

His uncle, Xia Chuan Wuyi (Zhu Yi): "Old man, if you ask me, we have to wipe them all out. You made senior general at forty, but look how many years the imperial family kept you down. You should have been promoted to marshal back then! But what happened? You still hadn't made marshal by the time you were seventy! Our Xia Chuan clan is an old family of noble warriors. We were once so glorious, yet before the rebellion, we didn't even have a baron's title in the family!"
