In this fairy-tale world, Tao Lianhua thinks she'll get to meet Twilight Sparkle and the others, but she hasn't arrived at the right time. She's landed a thousand years too early. "Not only do I have to look after my drunkard dad, I also have to keep an eye on those two little troublemakers. Good thing I'm a mechanical pony, so I can work around the clock without sleep!!!" The Windigos destroy the alicorn camp, and the surviving alicorns flee to another world under their leader's protection. Tao Lianhua, or rather, Qunxing Zhaozhao, resolutely steps through the portal to find those two little troublemakers and stand against the Windigos. "Celestia, take Luna and run ahead. Find a unicorn named Starswirl the Bearded!" After being frozen for a thousand years, Qunxing Zhaozhao finally breaks free of the ice in Ponyville. What fun things will happen when the pony she has to babysit for the next thousand years is a little purple filly instead?
