This book feels very professional! It reminds me of "local chronicles", which are records of the history, culture and other aspects of a specific region. However, "Gansu Dunhuang Chronicles" focused more on Dunhuang, which gave me a deeper understanding of the culture there. Moreover, this kind of local chronicle is really helpful for us to understand and inherit traditional culture!
