Long Xiaojiu transmigrates into the beast world as its ugliest female, but the System gives her a mission: win over Cangqiong, the chief of the Azure Dragon Tribe. Cangqiong already finds Long Xiaojiu’s lovestruck behavior unbearable. But as she reveals more and more knowledge of modern civilization, he begins to fall for her. The problem is, Cangqiong also has a cherished first love, Anna. Anna is the temple’s saintess, known as the messenger of the Beast God. Long Xiaojiu just wants to finish her mission in peace, return to her hometown, and live out her days as a wealthy single woman who can lie back and enjoy life. But as she goes about her task, the villain shows up, and so does the temple’s high priest. Don’t come any closer! I’m only trying to finish my mission. Cangqiong also starts keeping a close eye on Long Xiaojiu, saying ominously, “Who will you choose?”
Long Xiaojiu: I just want to be a wealthy single woman, not become the Beast God.
