The Realm Beyond the Light

In another world called the Continent of Against the Light, a fantastical society is held together by the mysterious Power of Light. Once every hundred years, the sky bears witness to the Day of Reversal, when the power of every living thing is inverted: the weak grow stronger, and the strong grow weaker. The protagonist, Eric, lives in an age when the next Day of Reversal is drawing near. Born without any Power of Light, he is known as a Shadowborn. As the day approaches, he sets out to find the legendary Holy Stone of Light and break the chains of fate, all to protect his family and friends from the dangers unleashed by the reversal of power.
