This is the third of five novels in the Long Night series. The first is complete, the second is still being updated, and the third is making an early appearance for everyone!
The story is very coherent overall, and you can follow it without reading the first two books. Still, I recommend checking them out. The three novels trace three stages in the author's writing and three stages of love.
Main text:
I actually love you very much. You just don't know it!
A person's life is short. In the blink of an eye, fifteen years have passed.
A person's life can also be long, so I wrote many chapters about you.
The novel I wrote is a gift to you, and to myself as well.
Linjiang Immortal: Hometown
Towering buildings rise from the ground, while green hills and clear waters are hard to preserve. One generation of newcomers replaces the last.
Though I live high above, I hear no one's words.
Decades have passed since I left my hometown, roaming the world. Last night, someone from the past disturbed my peaceful dreams.
The laughter is still there, but the faces are gone.
By a twist of fate, I had a dream. When I woke, I wept bitterly. I look at the present: everything has changed. I recall the past, and it still haunts my dreams.
And so this epic work was born, a novel to commemorate the youth I can never reclaim.
And that heartrending, unforgettable love!
I suggest the author change the title of the book and call me Learning to Kill Gods in the Brain-Computer World! It's so imaginative!
