A Misty Record of Cultivation

This is neither a System story nor a transmigration story.

The story will get lighter and more fun as it goes along. Just stick with it past the opening! The introduction is a little long because it lays the groundwork for what comes later, but it only takes up a few chapters. Please bear with me and give it a look. Feel free to skim ahead, too. Once the story gets going, there’ll be funny moments and Chen Fan’s efforts to uncover his own identity. Chen Fan transmigrates to a world of cultivation, feeling both excited and lost. As he listens to his master talk about the past on Blue Star, he realizes he isn’t the only one whose soul has crossed over. Then, looking at this thing that calls itself a System but is full of suspicious details, Chen Fan snaps, “Can’t you at least help me raise my cultivation?”

Though this book is tagged as having a single heroine, she’ll only be mentioned briefly as a bit of foreshadowing early on, with little plot devoted to her. She won’t make the occasional appearance until the middle and later parts of the story. There’s affection without excessive mushiness, and no endless so-called flirtation with other women. The male lead is a bit of a clown, but he’s a good person at heart.

After all, who doesn’t want to hold on to the ideals they had when they were young? The world may have changed us, but when we think back to our innocent younger selves, don’t we remember how naive and kind we were?

Please leave comments and follow the book, and let me know what you don’t like. Reading should be fun, so if something bothers you, feel free to let it out.

My new work is here, and I hope you’ll enjoy it. Your support inspires me to write, and I’ll do my best to tell every story well!
