The first king of the Zhongdu Continent unexpectedly gained the ability to transform into a dragon. It took thirteen years to unify the Zhongdu Continent. His descendants inherited the ability to transform into a dragon. Therefore, the members of the royal family of the Zhongdu Continent were called the Dragon Clan by future generations.
After ruling the tribes of the Zhongdu continent for more than three hundred years, the sorcerers who controlled the five elements increased their abilities and could even kill the green dragon. In the later period of the dynasty, the conflicts between the royal family and the vassal states intensified, and they even fought against each other.
In the Dragon Clan Era 313, Gong Liangping, the prime minister, and his four children were killed by the tyrant for treason. The fifth son, Gong Liangjin, survived and escaped from the royal city back to his fief.
