I Found a Child, Then Got Cyberbullied by a Movie Star

Jiang Suye x Shang Lu

The heroine is a little mischievous, kindhearted, and questionable in manners.

The hero is scheming, rich and handsome, and psychologically unhinged (just kidding).

Pure romance, mutually faithful (a personal preference), happy ending, bickering couple.

Content warning: “Mutually faithful” means neither has had an intimate relationship with an ex. Both leads have exes; it doesn't mean they are completely “untouched.”

Jiang Suye never imagined that every ordinary, happy day of her first half of life was laying the groundwork for the extraordinary adventures of her second half.

Even less did she expect that those extraordinary adventures would begin when she found a child.

As someone who had read plenty of classical literature (novels) and modern literature (novels), Jiang Suye knew that bringing home anything you found along the road, including a person, was the start of trouble you couldn't undo.

But when she looked into the innocent, wide eyes of the little human child, none of that mattered anymore.

What was so hard about looking after a child?

So Jiang Suye began raising the child. Just as they were growing closer and closer, the child's father showed up!

After reluctantly returning the child, Jiang Suye wrote a letter to express how much she missed them. She never expected the child's father, Shang Lu, a top actor of his generation, to post the handwritten letter on Weibo for everyone to see...

Later:

Jiang Suye: “Why did you post it?”

Shang Lu: “You left after writing me a letter, and I didn't have your contact information. I had to make you come find me.”

Jiang Suye: “How did you know I'd show up?”

Shang Lu: “Because the person I met was you.”
