The Vicious Young Lady Holds the Script

Ji Mingyue suddenly learns that she is merely the villainess, destined to die young, in a male-lead-centered novel. Thrilled by the revelation, she decides to crush the hero’s pride and smooth away his rough edges while he is still a boy.

And the so-called boy who will grow up to be the hero is just a lonely youth starved of affection.

That year, the boy, mired in hardship, meets a spoiled, proud young lady. The girl is poised and aloof in front of everyone else, but with him alone she shows her truest self. He sees her being playful and clingy, and countless times he feels happy to have this side of her all to himself.

But one day, he discovers that the girl has been acting all along.

And then he breaks down.
