Letting You Grow Freely

Eight years after graduating with a degree in English from a foreign studies university in a major city, Zeng Zhizhi had worked her way up from administrative assistant to assistant to the CEO at a major internet company. She made good money and bought a big house.

The year she turned thirty, she quit her job, traveled, prepared for graduate school, and tried out work in all kinds of industries, deciding to start her life over. It was what people called a gap year. As Zeng Zhizhi put it, she wanted a do-over and to stay true to herself. Otherwise, she'd just be copying and pasting the previous eight years.

Love is a welcome diversion on the road to personal growth. But there's someone who's been waiting for her all along, and she can't let him down.

Xiang Min, 36, is a hotel industry CEO and chairman. He spent his youth focused on his career, leaving his love life a blank slate. He feels somewhat self-conscious about being several years older than Zeng Zhizhi, so he has always kept his feelings in check. He helps the female lead grow and believes her when she says, “Let's meet at the summit.”

Loving you means letting you grow freely.
