When the Blood Guard suspect a girl is a witch, they will remove her clothes and examine her body for scars. During the reign of the Sister Queens, witches would proudly display the scars they forged as a symbol of their power. Wearing jeweled rings and silk garments, they flaunted their wealth, status and, more importantly, their magic. Now, these scars serve as evidence that they were marked.
The last time Luna saw the Witch's scar was two years ago, when the Witch Queen was killed. They were murdered in their beds, their parliamentary blood flowing in the streets. The Blood Guard seized control of the city and began a purge.
At sunset, a group of people gathered in the foggy city center with angry eyes. Luna stood in the crowd. People crave revenge as much as they crave a strong glass of red wine.
Seagulls screamed overhead as the old witch trudged up the steps to the purification platform. Unlike those who followed her, the old woman neither cried nor begged for mercy, but faced her fate bravely.
The Blood Guard stared at her, ruthlessly tearing open one sleeve of her shirt, revealing her incriminating evidence: patterned scars running down her left arm, etched into her golden skin like delicate white lace.
Luna couldn't help but find them beautiful. Scars, once a symbol of status and superiority, are now marks that cannot be hidden, making old women easy prey for witch hunters. This is why Luna never hurt herself intentionally, she can't let them find the scars on her body.

It's a beautiful and wonderful story. It would be great if it could be finished.
