Fiscal Thought and Classical Inheritance

This textbook is used in conjunction with the teaching of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics' undergraduate general courses. In the teaching of this general course in the past two years, the author has used "Nine Lectures on Financial Classics" published by Fudan University Press in 2015. Since this book will be published for more than five years, with the support of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics' general course construction plan, the author will write a special textbook on "Fiscal Thought and Classical Tradition". Its content is a selection of eight classic works in addition to "Nine Lectures on Financial Classics". By interpreting classics, undergraduate students can share the political wisdom of financial governance and inherit the civilization accumulated so far. By interpreting and guiding the reading of these classics, students can have a dialogue with their souls, understand themselves and the environment in which they live, and thus provide guidance for their possible next actions.
