On the Qian Kun Continent, strength reigns supreme. The continent is home to four great nations and the Hall of Light. Though small in size, the Hall of Light is immensely powerful and works tirelessly to maintain peace across the continent. Yet beneath the peace, undercurrents swirl: the guilds compete with one another, and tensions between nations never cease.
Wang Xiaochen comes from an ordinary family. By chance, he becomes a mage under the tutelage of Master Mo. After making some progress in magic, he sets out to gain experience and meets the beautiful swordswoman Lin Ling. Wang Xiaochen becomes her faithful sidekick, while Lin Ling acts as his bodyguard. Together, they help each other as they explore the Qian Kun Continent.
