The heroine turns from white to black; the male lead has very little screen time, so you could say there is no male lead.
Everyone knows the current chancellor has two sons and two daughters. His legitimate eldest daughter, Shen Ronghua, is dignified and composed. The royal family arranged her marriage, and she became the Crown Princess. His concubine-born daughter, Shen Yuehua, is lively and adorable, and was engaged to the heir of the Marquis of Linyang before she even came of age! His legitimate eldest son, Shen Huairen, placed first in all three levels of the imperial examinations and was personally named a top scholar by the emperor. His legitimate second son, Shen Huaili, may not be as skilled in literature as his father and elder brother, but he became a disciple of the great general of military might at a young age.
But no one knew that the chancellor had another son and daughter born to a mistress. The concubine-born Shen Zhaohua brought her younger brother, Shen Huaiwen, all the way from Jinling to the capital to seek their father. But the chancellor had no intention of acknowledging them. Disheartened, Shen Zhaohua had planned to make a life for herself and her brother, but fate had other plans. Her brother died under mysterious circumstances; an uncle suddenly appeared; her aunt tried to poison her; her legitimate mother treated her like she wasn't human; her half-sister framed her; her legitimate elder sister used her as a pawn; her legitimate elder brother watched her with predatory intent; her legitimate younger brother tried to claim her by force; and her own father did nothing. Shen Zhaohua lamented fate's injustice, and was gradually driven mad!
Now mad, Shen Zhaohua kills any god or Buddha in her way. Watch how she turns the tables against all odds!
The writing is delicate, the plot is smooth, and the characters are distinct. It is worth watching. The female protagonist's IQ is okay, but why hasn't the male protagonist appeared yet?????
This is a slow-burning novel
