A spoiled young lady transmigrates into a period novel written by her younger cousin. She’s still spoiled, but unfortunately, she’s destined to be a cannon-fodder character.
Her only purpose is to serve as a stepping stone for her cousin Xie Yao, the novel’s heroine: taking hit after hit to make her shine, advance the romance between the male and female leads, and ultimately suffer endless face-slapping until she dies.
The transmigrated troublemaker Xie Man gives a faint smile, utterly unfazed, and snatches the golden finger her cousin wrote for her: the Pinduoduo System.
Xie Man declares, “Sure, I’m spoiled, but I’m practical. If I’m going to live through hard times in a period novel, why bother fighting when supplies are so much better?”
Food, drink, fun, and fashion: even after landing in the 1970s, she, the young lady Xie Man, won’t let herself live in misery!
The only problem is that the stolen Pinduoduo System doesn’t seem to work the way the original novel described. Day after day, it coaxes her to kiss Shen Que, the landlord’s son.
For the sake of a bite to eat, Xie Man puts up with it!
But in the end, that young man takes everything from her!
