After Failing to Win Over the Esports Heartthrob, I Gave Up

[One couple + lighthearted comedy + happy ending]

[League of Legends + System + alternate setting]

[Laid-back funny girl who’s given up vs. cool, aloof esports god]

[Entire story is fictional. Please don’t read too much into it.]

League of Legends mid-lane prodigy Xu Youyou loses at the World Championship and is poisoned to death by haters.

She was supposed to be reborn with the female lead’s golden finger System, but by mistake, she gets a system meant to help her win the female supporting character’s love.

She must win over esports god Luo Jingsen within 100 attempts to reclaim the female lead’s destiny.

The good news is that the System has been upgraded. Every time Xu Youyou starts over, she can choose an identity and gain a special skill.

But all the first 99 attempts fail, without exception.

If she doesn’t succeed on her hundredth try, Xu Youyou will be reduced to dust.

But she’s already given up and decided to lie flat.

For her final attempt, Xu Youyou chooses her original identity as an esports player.

Together, she and Luo Jingsen overcome every obstacle, going from internet cafes all the way to the World Championship stage.

That loss years ago was both a regret and a demon in her heart.

Hater: “If you think you can do better, then get up there and play.”

Xu Youyou: “OK. Watch closely and learn.”
