Humanity Will Go Extinct After the Protagonist Awakens

The fog of doomsday and the sunlight of survival share the same blue sky.

Humanity regains its former glory after the apocalypse, empowered by forces projected from higher dimensions.

Humanity believes itself to be the chosen one.

Humanity never wonders what it might have to give in exchange for such power.

Then he appears, awakened from his slumber five hundred years ago.

Once the most dangerous man wanted by every nation, he was the King of the Night.

He brings a countdown to prosperity and destruction.

And tears away the veil concealing the truth behind this power.

Power was never meant as a blessing. It was meant to raise humanity like livestock.

They give;

They harvest.

They bestow their grace;

They devour.

Beneath a power humanity can never hope to match, he will search for the Far Star, the one thing that can let humanity cling to life a little longer.

Let me brag a little: in the long run, this book's worldbuilding and plot might be the best on Tomato, maybe even without peer.

Don't believe me? Read the whole thing before you come complain.
