Cang Liqian had only intended to undergo an ordinary tribulation to ascend, but ran into a mysterious space rift and ended up as a newborn baby girl, Shangguan Qing'er, in the world of Qingcang.
Figuring that being alive was a win in itself, she planned to take each day as it came. But this card-based world, where men outrank women, was terribly unkind to her. She and her mother had to scrape by on the edge of town, and just after she came of age, her scumbag father sold her to a wealthy household to become the child bride of a sickly little boy.
She decided she was done with this life. She would make sure that everyone she loved, and everyone who loved her, would be all right...
[There will probably be lots of men, but I don't know if there'll be a male lead. Maybe we should bet on it?]
“Men seem like too much trouble. Maybe I shouldn't write a romance at all?”
The subject matter is very good, but I feel that the author writes it too hastily. The plot seems to be rushed forward by a whip. The pace is sometimes slow and sometimes fast. It should be a new author, and overall it is okay.
