Rose Fever

(Strong female lead, male lead is three years younger, both are virgins.)

Her parents are childhood sweethearts who have loved each other for decades. Her eldest sister took over the family business and indulges her in everything. Her second brother is devoted to medicine, runs the family’s private hospital, and dotes on her.

As the youngest in the family, Su Manwu has a life that seems almost too good to be true.

At twenty-one, she gets a sudden idea: she wants to start a business.

So she opens the family’s first entertainment company, and it quickly grows into a major success.

Her life is smooth and happy.

A gambling father, a mother who is sick all year round, and younger siblings still in school: these are the standard ingredients in the life of a tragic heroine. But this is Wen Renze’s reality.

He was forced to quit school and find work at sixteen. His life was utterly bleak.

That day, as he watched a bottle come crashing down toward his head, he closed his eyes in despair. Then that woman saved him.

From that day on, an unspoken desire took root in his heart.

On his twentieth birthday, the day he had run out of options, he encountered her drunk.

That was also the day the dignity he had held onto for so long was shattered completely. But he had no regrets.

From then on, someone more important to him than his own life became part of his world, and he finally had a career of his own.

From that day on, his father stopped coming to him for money. His mother could afford her medical bills, and his younger siblings could go to school without a problem.

And she stayed by his side.

He wanted to guard his sun forever, and greedily wished for more.
