One Thought to Ferry the Breeze

Because of an unreliable System, 006, Lu Zhi accidentally transmigrates into a novel she’s never read, The Legitimate Daughter Reigns Supreme.

The System pins its hopes on her winning over the villain, Song Lin. Lu Zhi: •᷄ࡇ•᷅ ... “Nope. I’m just here to keep him company. Whatever happens, happens!”

But later, when she sees Song Lin, who has always treated his own life as worthless, Lu Zhi can no longer stand by and do nothing. “You’re not alone. I’ll wait for you to come home.”

Feeling the warm tears slide down onto her shoulder, Lu Zhi promises again and again that she won’t leave him.

Moved by Lu Zhi’s concern and promises, Song Lin rests his head against her shoulder and curls his lips into a smile. His long lashes tremble as he tries to hide the darkness in his eyes.

The System, watching Lu Zhi prove no match for the villain’s acting, demands, “Host, what happened to that ‘just here to keep him company’ thing you said at the start?” Then it yells, “Song Lin! Have you no shame? Give me back that aloof, love-is-beneath-him prime minister and the mad second male lead!”

At first, Lu Zhi only wanted to stay alive. In the end, she vanishes, all to win justice for the boy she loves.

“A Lin, you have to live well. From now on, every breeze around you might be me.”

Both Pure. Lu Zhi x Song Lin
