In the Great Yu Dynasty, Ming Hai transmigrates and becomes the Ninth Prince. In his previous life, he was an ordinary office worker whose only hobby was gaming. In this life, however, he is a spoiled prince whom everyone in the capital despises.
On the eve of his transmigration, Ming Hai pulled his favorite goddess in a game's gacha event. He was so excited that he dropped dead on the spot. But when he woke up, he discovered that the goddess had transmigrated with him and given him a strange square furnace, unlocking the Ancestral Sacrifice System.
The Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, wise ministers who ruled the realm, mighty generals: Ming Hai can receive the blessings of anyone who ever lived in Chinese history by offering sacrifices to the gods and his ancestors. The Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors' power to reach the heavens, Sun Wu's strategy of blending the orthodox with the unorthodox, the Champion Marquis's courage in campaigning as far as Wolf Mountain, Marquis Wu's plan to divide the realm into three...
That year, Emperor Wu of Great Yu, Ming Hai, was sixteen.
“The stars and moon wheel above, and lights shine in ten thousand homes, yet no king's shadow graces the halls.”
“Yet blades of war rise across the three seas and nine provinces, and beacon fires blaze across a hundred passes. Standards billow like tides as Emperor Wu ascends Mount Fengxuan, stands tall beneath the firmament, and proclaims his decree to the four wilds and eight corners of the world. From this day on, he will pacify the four wilds, quell the lingering might of the martial dynasties, bring the stars down to the rivers, seize the authority of all under heaven, and usher in a golden age for the realm.”
The book is good, but it looks literate. It feels like I'm reading classical Chinese and gives me a headache.
