This book includes an introduction, basic experimental guidance, and appendices. The introduction part includes the functions and tasks of the experiments in the mechanics of materials course, the basic knowledge of the experiments in the mechanics of materials courses, the experimental teaching projects of the mechanics of materials courses and their teaching requirements. The basic experimental guidance part includes eight experimental guidances, including tensile experiment, compression experiment, solid circular cross-section rod torsion experiment, rectangular cross-section beam pure bending normal stress experiment, thin-walled cylinder principal stress measurement experiment during combined bending and torsion deformation, equal-strength beam bridge transformation and wiring experiment, thin-walled cylinder internal force component measurement experiment during combined bending and torsion deformation, and grooved section beam bending center and stress measurement design experiment. The appendix includes the introduction and usage instructions of microcomputer-controlled electronic testing machine, hydraulic testing machine, TNS-J02 digital display torsion testing machine and TS3861 static digital resistance strain gauge. The experimental reports are in a separate volume, including experimental reports for seven basic experiments.

This book is also very practical for housewives like me. The experimental content in it is very detailed, just like the stretching experiment, which reminds me of making noodles, and you need to master the stretching strength. Moreover, the equipment introduction and usage instructions in the book are also very clear, and the appendix is very practical. I think this book is not only suitable for students, but also for people interested in mechanics. Just like what is said in the book, "Practice makes true knowledge", only by doing more can you better understand knowledge.
