This "Fundamentals of Life Science" covers many aspects of biology, with rich and comprehensive content, and is very suitable for students who are not majoring in biology. It is a bit like Darwin's "On the Origin of Species", both books explore the mysteries of life. I particularly enjoyed the sections on cell biology and genetic variation, which gave me a deeper understanding of the basic structure and evolution of life. Moreover, this book also has basic experiments, which is very practical. In short, I think this is a good popular science book and I recommend it to friends who are interested in life sciences!
