Widowed, She Became the General's Household's Most Cherished Treasure

Jiang Xueling transmigrated into a book and became a forty-six-year-old matriarch of a general's household. Looking at the roomful of children and grandchildren, she became a mother and grandmother without lifting a finger. With no parents-in-law or husband to answer to, and blessed with a good family background and a good marriage, the entire general's household was hers to command! But before she could start living a carefree life and retire early, her descendants began causing trouble one after another. Some knelt outside her door for hours, while others hung white silk inside the house. Every little thing required the old madam to decide what to do. Jiang Xueling felt she simply couldn't take any more! The eldest was stubborn and rigid, while the second was insecure and easily bullied. The third was cold and distant, and the fourth did nothing but loaf around. The fifth was spoiled and willful, while the sixth was timid by nature and easily fooled. They caused trouble one after another. With the general's household on the verge of ruin, Jiang Xueling could take it no longer. She grabbed a stick and started beating them. They say a good person can be made with a good beating, and so began Jiang Xueling's life of being forced to raise her children and grandchildren.
