A Lovely Educated Youth in the Seventies Marries a Rugged Countryman

Shen Tang is fair-skinned, beautiful, and as lovely as a flower. After transmigrating to the 1970s, she finds her parents and brothers locked up in a cowshed, leaving her alone and helpless. Faced with the harassment and advances of the village Party secretary’s greedy, lecherous son, Shen Tang looks at her frail body, which can neither carry heavy loads nor lift much, and decides she might as well find someone to marry. Qin Huaishan is the village’s good-for-nothing loafer, shunned by everyone. Lately, Qin Huaishan has been a little troubled. The beautiful, pampered educated youth from the city, Shen Tang, says she wants to marry him. Hmph, women are nothing but trouble. There’s no way he’s getting married. But later… his wife is irresistible!
