Jiang Yuqingyun’s Second Book

The story takes place beside the Qinhuai River in Jinling City.

A poem serves as proof:

The Epang Palace was famed for its beauties, but who remembers the Qinhuai's splendor through six dynasties?

A breeze stirs the green willows, brushing painted boats; beneath the bright moon, rosy-cheeked beauties cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Night after night, drums sound across the Canglang River; year after year, flutes ring through the terraces and pavilions.

Most poignant of all, the letter remains unfinished, while at the ferry a tavern flag beckons once more.
