I Became the Jiajing Emperor of the Ming Dynasty

I Became the Jiajing Emperor of the Ming Dynasty

I transmigrated to the Great Ming and became the Jiajing Emperor.

I took down a treacherous official from the start!

“By the Mandate of Heaven, the Emperor decrees: From this day forward, Jiang Bin is stripped of his military command. His family is placed under house arrest, his property confiscated for the imperial treasury, and Jiang Bin himself exiled to the frontier. So ordered!”

“Your servants thank Your Majesty for your gracious decree.”

Jiang Bin knelt on the ground, his face ashen.

Li Jin, deputy commander of the Imperial Guard, knelt beside him, his expression complicated.

They had never expected the emperor to deal with the treacherous Jiang Bin so swiftly, right after regaining his memories!

Qianqing Palace.

I sat on the Dragon Throne, a lifetime’s worth of memories filling my mind.

In my previous life,

I had lived in the modern world as a fantasy novelist renowned across the literary world.

While developing a laser, I activated my family’s heirloom jade and transmigrated to the Great Ming, becoming its Jiajing Emperor.

I had also been bound to an “Imperial Dynasty Ascendant” System.

Complete the tasks issued by the System, and I would receive all kinds of rewards.

For example, stripping a treacherous official of his military command.

Or winning the loyalty of Li Jin, commander of the Imperial Guard.

Rewards included literary merit, martial prowess, industries, talented people, rare treasures, and more.

These rewards could strengthen the foundations of the Great Ming and increase my own power,

helping prevent the natural disasters, man-made calamities, foreign invasions, and other crises that had plagued history.

“Your Majesty.”

“I have inspected Jiang Bin’s home. His gold and jewels are piled up like a mountain, and he also had hundreds of illicit manuals.”

“Furthermore, I found evidence that Jiang Bin was colluding with Japanese pirates.”

Li Jin spoke respectfully.

“Good.”

“Confiscate Jiang Bin’s property and keep the manuals under strict guard.”

“As for his collusion with the Japanese pirates, keep it secret for now.”

I nodded slightly.
