American Comics: Multiversal Chaos

[The story focuses on the various parallel universes of Marvel and DC, as well as some original settings. I'll try to keep everyone in character. No fixed protagonist + Marvel + DC + all the heavens and worlds?]

A “cosmic resonance disaster” sweeps across all of multiversal reality, tearing down dimensional barriers and causing dozens of parallel universes to collide and fold in on themselves irreversibly.

The disaster throws the laws of space into chaos, as the physical constants of different universes encroach upon one another.

Timelines intertwine! Events from the past, present, and future happen all at once. Realities seep into each other, forcing heroes and villains to face “the most familiar strangers.”

This isn't a simple case of transmigration: it's a cataclysm that threatens existence itself.
