Master's Self-Redemption

Bai Qiujin, an Immortal Venerable of the Baiheng Sect who cultivated the Heartless Dao, rescued Su Zhi when he was a beggar. But through negligence, he let his young disciple Su Zhi be bullied and humiliated until he turned to the demonic path, became the Demon Emperor, and betrayed his master and sect. To save the Baiheng Sect, Bai Qiujin shattered the sect's supreme treasure, the Mirror of the Past, and returned to the time before he had taken Su Zhi in. Wanting to make amends, and also acting out of self-interest, he brought Su Zhi into the sect to watch over and protect him. Yet Su Zhi still fell into demonic ways. Bai Qiujin sacrificed himself to the Dao, while Su Zhi went everywhere seizing treasures... His master came to his side in another form, but seemed intent on killing him. So what if his master wanted him dead, as long as he stayed by his side? Before the Mirror of the Past, Su Zhi had no memory of shattering it. His memories were reset, and he became an emotionless Demon Emperor...
