History Through Videos: From the Start, a Rundown of History’s Funniest Emperors

(Lighthearted comedy + stand-up comedy + historical retrospectives)

Ma Hou Pao, a postdoctoral researcher in history at Claydon University,

transmigrates to a wondrous continent built around five thousand years of Chinese history.

A sky screen hangs above this continent, just like a livestream,

and even the ancients speak in the language of modern stand-up comedy!

After being duped by the System, Ma Hou Pao becomes a host who reviews history through stand-up comedy.

The System livestreams videos to the various historical eras,

collecting the ancients' jokes, reactions, and other comments, then bundling them up and sending them to Ma Hou Pao.

Ma Hou Pao's historical retrospectives are then broadcast live on the sky screen,

and the System awards prizes of its choosing.

After passing the tests set by Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng, Emperor Wu of Han Liu Che, Emperor Taizong of Tang Li Shimin, Emperor Taizu of Song Zhao Kuangyin, Emperor Taizu of Ming Zhu Yuanzhang, and Qianlong's “Steamed Wuchang Bream,”

Ma Hou Pao begins his career as a streamer of “historical stand-up comedy and funny retrospectives”:

From the start, he reviews the nominees for the [Funniest Emperor Award],

with the System reporting back: Qin Shi Huang, Emperor Wu of Han, Emperor Taizong of Tang, Emperor Taizu of Song, and Zhu Yuanzhang invite you to dinner sometime!

He reviews the nominees for the [Most Nail-Biting Banquet Award],

with the System reporting back: Liu Bang and Liu Bei claim the results were rigged!

He reviews the nominees for the [Best Cook of a Stew Made from a Faithful Hound Award],

with the System reporting back: Li Bai protests, “How can Li Kui be one of the Three Lis of Poetry?”

He reviews the nominees for the [Most Classic Three Kingdoms Battle Scene Award],

with the System reporting back: Lü Bu, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Dian Wei, and Xu Chu tell you not to leave after school!
