Fantasy Game: City of Infinity

Fake infinite-flow + not a saint + hidden hand + invincible

(Some things that seem completely baffling at first will gradually be explained.)

In 20XX, an entertainment company called Infinite Corporation suddenly appeared in the public eye. It developed a product called Infinite City. Using the free gaming pods provided, people could enter the city and embark on mysterious, fully immersive adventures. Gradually, almost everyone became a player in Infinite City. Then people discovered that the skills and physical attributes they gained in the game could be brought back to reality! But at some point, dying in Infinite City also began to mean dying in real life. And buried in the game’s long, tedious terms and conditions was a clause stating that players voluntarily donated their bodies to Infinite Corporation after death.

Why would an entertainment company need that? What’s more, Infinite Corporation’s game streams were completely uncensored, and before long, the company had nearly taken control of everything. People could no longer live without it, from their food and clothing to their homes and transportation. What secrets was Infinite Corporation hiding? What purpose did Infinite City serve? No one knew.

Then, one day, something seemed to change. A new player named Han Zu entered the game. He seemed different from everyone else. Traveling between a world that was steadily changing and the instances of Infinite City, what was he searching for?
